Gaspereau Lucie Kuhlmann

Lucie Kuhlmann is a grape with French flair, North American sass and a love for the Canadian climate. A wine that is bold, with vanilla oak and cherry aromatics, fruit and tannin complexity on the palate and a soft and round finish, it is equally suited for a quiet evening in or a night out. A robust red that stands on its own two feet—usually in heels. Red. With no apologies.

Nose

Complex notes of cherry and cranberry integrated with vanilla aromas and a hint of smoke and spice express themselves on the nose of this robust red wine.  The combination of fruit and oak foreshadows the complexity that will present itself on the palate.

Palate

Aged in a combination of newer and older French and Hungarian oak barrels enhances the structure and tannin profile while filling out the fruit on the nose with nuances of vanilla and smoke. Lucie Kuhlmann is an elegant red wine with moderate tannins and a food-friendly acidity.
